Privacy Policy

Clear Money is built around dignity. That extends to how we handle your data. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to remove it.

What we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we store your name, email address, hashed password (or Google OAuth token), and any preferences you set.
• Calculator results. When you click Save inside a tool, we store the inputs and outputs of that calculation so you can return to them later. Results are not stored unless you explicitly save them.
• Site usage. We use Vercel's built-in analytics to count page views and broad usage patterns. We do not sell this data.
• Email events. If you subscribe to a book download or newsletter, we log delivery and open events solely to operate that subscription.

What we do not collect

• We do not require Social Security numbers, bank credentials, or account numbers.
• We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How long we keep it

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Calculator saves are kept until you delete them or your account. Email logs are pruned after 24 months.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete everything (account included) from your dashboard. You can also email hello@getclearmoney.com and we will action the request within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be sent to your account email.
